Free Masterclass with artist Caroline Chouler-Tissier
Saturday 15 June 2024, 10.15 am - 4.15 pm at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery.
Recharge your artistic batteries after a long, hard year! Whatever your level, enjoy a day with a professional artist to develop your own creative practice as well as inspiring you for the classroom. Led by artist Caroline Chouler-Tissier, this year's class will be experimental and sociable! Caroline works primarily in clay, but develops her ideas using mixed media, film and story. Her starting point will be Holding Space, the Castle's current exhibition of contemporary and modern art.
Caroline trained at the Royal College of Art and Bretton Hall. She's worked at all school levels, in higher education, and freelance for the National Trust, as well as in museums and opera. She has shown in the UK and New York. Her London exhibitions include Collect 2024, the Design Festival and 24/7 Hypha Gallery. Since moving to Norwich from Derbyshire in 2022, she has shown at GroundWork, Holt Festival, Norwich Assembly House and Open Studios, and has worked with Norwich Theatre Royal and the RSC.
