Restaurant and cafe at Norwich Castle

Our restaurant and cafe serve a range of delicious hot and cold meals, snacks, and hot and cold drinks.

Much of our menu is freshly made on-site using the best locally sourced ingredients. We offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. If you have any other dietary requirements, please speak to a member of our team.

Castle Restaurant

The Castle Restaurant is on the first floor of the Atrium. It's open:

Monday to Saturday: 10am to 4:30pm
Sunday: 1pm to 4:30pm

A range of hot and cold drinks, fine wines, local beers, and locally made ice-creams are available 10am to 4.30pm.

Our lunch menu is available 11.30am to 2.30pm and includes filled baguettes and sandwiches, salads, and a selection of hot dishes.

You don't need a ticket to visit the Castle Restaurant. With spectacular views of the Castle Keep's east wall, our brand-new restaurant is a truly unique dining experience in the heart of the city.

The Castle Restaurant is part of the £18m Norwich Castle: Royal Palace Reborn redevelopment. The project is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to lottery players.

Pop-up cafe

When the Castle is busy, we also open our Pop-up Cafe in the Rotunda.

The cafe offers hot and cold drinks, cakes, biscuits, sandwiches, wraps and more.
