Suitable for all GCSE exam boards.
Please note:
- The dungeons are not wheelchair-accessible and have steps and uneven flooring.
- Shirehall courtroom is closed so trial activities will take place in the main museum.
Aims and learning outcomes:
- Examine real implements of punishment to see and get a feel for how punishments through time have changed.
- Describe and explain 19th century prison reform.
