KS1 and 2 Made in Norwich
Essential information
Maximum group size 15, £45 fee, 35-minute workshop
The event
What has made Norwich a Fine City? Examine Norwich's industrial past, including the production of textiles, hats, shoes, mustard, beer, chocolate and ironwork. Find out about the lives of workers in the city, and handle real and replica versions of the tools they used and the products they made. Plus find out how the museum building itself also played a part in the industries of Norwich!
For larger groups, the workshop can be run multiple times, with groups not in the session being self-led around the museum. The museum is small, so a total group size of 45 is preferable. You can combine the visit with the trails on our website. View trails in teacher-led visits section.
