Flight of the Falcon

From Norwich With Love

Led by Glass House Dance, a cast of local movers from a wide range of ages and backgrounds are working together to create a brand-new dance piece inspired by a falcon's journey through the medieval castle keep.

This promenade participatory dance performance will take place at Norwich Castle later this year.

The piece will be performed by five local dance groups coming together to create something special.

Who are the groups?

We have formed a new intergenerational dance group based at Norwich Castle specially for this project. Some people in the group are experienced dancers and some people are dancing for the first time. The group are meeting twice a month to devise and rehearse this brand-new work.

The Norwich Castle group will be performing alongside four incredible existing local dance groups: Cadenza, City College Norwich, Dance Egyptian Norwich, and D4Dance at The Garage.

Each group will be bringing their own unique dance style and interpretation of the theme, with it all being woven together under the artistic leadership of Glass House Dance.

The final piece will have a cast of over fifty dancers, ranging in age from 3 to 70+, bringing to life our magical museum setting through movement!
