What's open at Norwich Castle
Some areas of Norwich Castle are still closed due to construction work for the Norwich Castle: Royal Palace Reborn project. This includes the medieval castle, dungeons and battlements.
The temporary display of highlights from the Egyptian collections in the Decorative Arts Gallery is also currently closed. We are working to redisplay this case and hope to reopen it in the coming weeks. We will update the website once this work has been completed. Thank you for your patience and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Our new entrance, shop and restaurant are open. We are planning to fully open the Keep in spring 2025.
There are still plenty of fantastic treasures for you to explore.
